
ABOUTME
Reece Oliver is a guitarist, guitar teacher and music tutor in Brighton. From a young age he was introduced to music, guitar and piano through his father and has been surrounded by it ever since.
Specialising in soul, jazz, neosoul, rnb, acoustic and rhythm guitar, Reece has performed at a range of events and venues, accompanying in an established jazz and soul duo at various public and private events, from wedding ceremonies to corporate dinners to music evenings at hotels and small pubs.
He has also performed at many events and festivals such as Sussex Gin Festival, Firle Vintage Fair and Hurst Festival.
Reece also works in the studio with songwriters to feature on the tracks as the guitarist of choice, as well as assisting in song arrangement.
Reece teaches a range of people of all levels, abilities and ages focusing on guitar lessons and music tutoring.

SESSION WORK
I am available to hire as a studio guitarist to perform on your projects or as a live accompanying guitarist to bring your songs to life on the stage.
I can also work with you to help with arrangements and production on musical projects.


I wasn't sure about Zoom-based lessons initially thinking you would perhaps lose a lot of the experience by not being there in person, but the pandemic meant it was the only way and actually I don't think I'd go back to in-person lessons now; it's just so convenient that you only need the allotted hour and don't have to travel etc. My playing is definitely improving and it's so satisfying to be making progress after so many years of plateauing at a level I wasn't happy with. I definitely recommend Reece.
